Mr. Bianchin –
I have a consulting firm, Early Intervention and Special Education, LLC (EISPED, LLC). My firm works with state and local governments and private agencies assisting in meeting the federal requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA).
I have also established a subsidiary to my firm that provides developmental assessments to infants, toddlers and young children (0-8) at well child visits to the pediatrician. My goal is to have an evaluation office that has clinic visits during the weekday and on Saturdays as well as a bus that is a traveling clinic/evaluation site.
My corporation is based in central Florida, and I am looking to establish my subsidiary by end of the first quarter 2008.
I am seeking $375,000 in start up funding to include the cost of retail space, insurance, and salary/benefits for 12 staff persons. Salary allocation would include a stipend for a pediatrician who would have hospital privileges in the Central Florida area.
Please advise as to the possibility of funding/angel investors for my corporation, Early Intervention and Special Education Consulting, LLC.
Thank you.

Ms. Herring,
Mr. Bianchin specialises in emerging technologies. Nonetheless, I forwarded your complete message to him. Perhaps he can put you in contact with someone who can help you.
Sincerely,
Harold
Mr. Bianchin,
Seeing as how your specialty is emergent technology, I thought you might be interested in this new service that I’m thinking about developing. Or perhaps you would be willing to give me your opinion on the potential success of such a venture.
I am considering setting up a microblogging service that businesses can easily install on their site and that allows direct communication with the business owner and the client. (The installation makes a small button appear in the corner of the browser window when someone open’s that business’ website. Clicking on this button opens a small window with a microblog. clients can ask questions, leave feedback, etc. and business owners can respond either privately to that client, or publicly so that all clients who click on the button will see the answer).
The messages the business owner sends and receives can be viewed on their microblogging backoffice, providing a useful archive of customer communications. The idea is to increase interactivity on the sites that install the button and drive up sales. The service would be free.
Do you think that this type of service could be effective/successful? Do you have any ideas about how to make it
better? Any opinions/thoughts are greatly appreciated!
I think it could definitely be successful. Any type of interaction or tracking tool can be useful, in my opinion.
