A ThingMagic encoder is placed inside Zebra’s Xi High performance printer to produce a R110Xi that is then used to print and encode HF and UHF RFID tags. You can use use it for case labelling and pallet labelling.

A desktop version for HF printing and encoding is the R2844-Z. You can use it for near field scanning of high value assets like jewelry and DVDs. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry. RFID wristbands are used in hospitals. You can scan patients without having to wake them up. Barcode wristbands are also very popular.
